Tax Preparer in office or remote (CPA or EA required)

A growing accounting firm in DC area is offering a competitive compensation to hire an experienced Tax Preparer (CPA or EA) working in office or remotely (who can preferably sign off tax returns)

Responsibilities -Communicate with clients and gather client information necessary for tax return filing -Prepare tax workpapers and use tax software (e.g., Ultra Tax) to complete tax returns -Support accounting firm priorities through teamwork and collaboration

Basic Qualifications -CPA or EA required -Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing -3+ years of relevant tax experience (Tax return signing-off experience is preferred) -Familiar with tax software (Ultra Tax experience is a plus) -Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
